Theatre Trips

An Inspector Calls

Recently, a number of year 11 students visited the Curve to support their work on the GCSE English Literature text ‘An Inspector Calls’. The production was first class and provided an interesting insight into the way the way the play could be staged, adding a different dimension to their revision. The students were fantastic and seemed to agree that it was an excellent way to remind them of the plot and characters in time for the forthcoming exams in May!

Wipers Theatre Trip

Students in Year 8 were given the opportunity to visit The Curve to watch Wipers a play centred around South Asian soldiers fighting alongside British troops in World War One.  This trip was organised as a reward for students making outstanding progress in Humanities lessons this year.  Students found it an enriching experience which built on the work they had been doing on World War One in Humanities lessons.
