Charity Fund Raising

Students at South Wigston are involved in a range of fundraising events throughout the year. Over the past few years, we have raised money for the following: 

• The Poppy Appeal (The Royal British Legion)
• Hope Against Cancer
• Loros
• Macmillan
• Wishes 4 Kids
• Combat Stress
• Age UK

This year has been slightly different; however, we have continued to support a couple of charities and local communities. South Wigston High School has raised money for Age UK - where we gifted money to the foodbank to provide for those less fortunate and our poppy appeal encouraged students to purchase a poppy for our virtual remembrance assembly.
